Hi Caisson,

Those comments by Painter mirror exactly what I've been saying all along: carrying close to zero inventory allows you to take advantage of dropping component prices while maintaining your profitability. JIT and channels are incompatible, so CPQ, HWP and IBM will never be a threat to Dell in the current pricing environment (falling component prices). When prices stabilize we may see CPQ re-emerging as a powerhouse.
