Clamenza, "We should be discussing DCI here........not the style in which we choose to discuss it." I agree, good points, so how about we discuss DCI? I have been curious about how we have been doing from the standpoint of revenues per share during DCI's recent history, so put together the following:
(Note that DCI's fiscal year ends 3/31, so the years below are for the period ended)
Fiscal year ended: Total revenues: Revenue per share:
1996 814,016 42 cents 1997 2,793,948 56 cents 1998 ** 23,924,000 $1.27 ##
Smartalk 1997: 72,000,000 $3.13
** The 1998 figure is derived from the 12 month consolidated numbers from the 8-K on Edge and I have added to this number the $7 million mentioned in the news release on Cyberfax. No revenues were assumed for DCI-UK and no adjustment was made for the hoped for increase in Mullers revenues, so I feel this number is very conservative.
## I am using the most recent number of shares outstanding of 19,506,145 which includes shares issued for the Edge deal(5/18/98) to derive this number.
I tossed Smartalks numbers in for a general comparison, note that during 1997, SMTK traded between $10 5/8- 36 1/2...hmmm
The revenue growth rate for DCI is huge, but the increase in the revenue per share is proof to me that the acquisitions Joe has completed thus far are adding significant shareholder value and that we are indeed making progress towards the desired goal. If Locus comes aboard , these numbers would look considerably more amazing. (G)
An exciting time to own DCTC IMO,
