I have had no problems with J.B. Oxford. I have been with them for over one year now. No problems. A friend of mine had some problems with their J.B. Online disk (not internet but the 800 number) and tried getting help and would have to leave a message and would never get a return phone call. But that was resolved, it was a computer problem on his end. Trading could still have been done on the phone so there was no real problem there either. I recently requested that a check be mailed out to me and it was in my hand very quickly. That to me was service, and a good test, as I have had problems with other firms being slower than I felt they could have been to send out a check. The only gripe I have is that I always end up buying at the ask (or more) and selling at the bid (or less) when trading "at the market rate". Limit orders often do not get filled, even when I see via Lombard that the stock had traded at my buy. This does not always happen, and it happens with the other Brokerage houses too. Price improvement is a nice thing..
