The review I read was in PC Today. As stated earlier they mentioned the usuals, also Poet and Objectivity. No mention of Versant and ODIS. The article was particularly poor and could be seen to be written by people who didn't know DB software. Their assessment represents the current mindthink that pervades the ORCL monopolized market. Did I say monopoly? Where's the government? They should be requiring ORCL to include an Objectstore demo disk in every Oracle 98 package. I can see that little has changed on this thread. You guys are saying the same things you were long ago and the company is bumping along as predicted. They're accumulating tapas which one day will pay off tremendously. When you put in as much work as they have and even though you have the superior product, see little for your labors, know that the seeds are sewn and must bear fruit. The bumpings are proof of the hardening of the corporate culture. Slow progress is the most powerful lever in the world. This is one of the companies to hold during the evolving bear market.
