Charred,

>>>how do you think the people of the region (kilometer 88) will react if this drags on for another 2 years?<<<

Are you asking in what ways the people of the region will suffer as a result of the lack of potential work? Or are you saying that these same people might evoke some sort of popular mandate and/or civil action over the course of two years to affect an outcome? The socio-economic fate of "the people of the region" clearly lies with the perceived urgency and need to act by the Supreme Court. The case lays before it....the benefits and detriments to "the people of the region" and adherence to case law are understood and weighed heavily, I'm sure. So what's up with the delay? Your guess is as good as mine.

If you are you blaming KRY for any locally experienced economic hardships because it is exerting its' legal claim and following its' position up through the proper judicial channels...that's nonsense!

A similar question could be poised to you: How do you think the investors of KRY/DOME will react if this drags on for another two years? I will not assume that the court is responsible only to my desires and economic expectations, if the people of the region (and their self-appointed "representatives") accept the same and await what must everyone must accept as the correct decision.

regards,

bigtoe

P.S. What is up with the "2 year" thing anyway?
