To Thread,

What a day! Get home and 177 posts to wade through! I can't help but think that 'we' are getting a little 'nit picky' here.

DELL exceeds the numbers by 2 cents, and we complain that DELL didn't exceed the numbers by enough! Not to mention that everybody is getting closer on the guesses.

Rest of manufacturers 'tank', DELL goes up, and complaints all over the thread!

I have more numbers running through my mind that I thought were possible! Any position could be taken and there would be plenty of support.

My 'gut' (and I AM MORE THAN QUALIFIED HERE!) tells me that DELL is such a 'robust' stock, manipulation IS occurring at some level. Those that can do the most are those that can trade without generating tax liabilities. I found the discussion about the after-hours trading most interesting.

I think that the current turbulence in the PC area is due to the tapering off of one technology, as another technology comes on line, compounded by some mergers, and the head to head competition between JIT-BTO and the 'channel' model.

The DOJ and MSFT conflict is beginning to take its toll. The market is in a 'new area' and carefully finding its way. DELL is currently performing very well under some pretty adverse conditions. DELL may (and actually I can say, definitely WILL) retrace at some point in time! I am not comfortable in saying that the time is now, nor in a week, or a month - but SOMETIME! You all know that I am correct!

So where am I? Looking for a 'sister' stock for DELL to run with, but that is a 'tall' order, for I just 'chart' them and look at the performance. I've looked at TLAB, CMGI, CSCO and others, and am still evaluating them. I have even started to look toward Japan, per LT. He just might have something here that I wouldn't want to overlook anything just because I didn't agree on DELL.

Just rambling! Sorry,

Regards,

Ken
