Ralf, I appreciate the response. Very valuable for a student such as myself. I'm having second thoughts about my short position and may buy back soon. Want to do a little more research. I guess the big question is whether or not all the edgy investors are out of SGI yet...you seem to think so. As for AAPL, I'm not patient enough to keep my money there for the amount of time it would probably require. Maybe when I'm older and wiser. I read your profile and saw that Intel is your favorite stock. I've recently been paid for work I've done for Intel (not the kind of work you'd expect from a student) and put the money right back in the stock. Thanks for info and lots of luck.
