Hi Techie, Red underwear at midnight on New Year's eve ???? Is that a New York only superstition. I don't think I have ever heard that one before. I think you have the right idea in only trading what you know. I have gotten into some big trouble in the past by not understanding the dynamics of the business of a sector or the nature of a stock product I bought. I don't trade options for real as a result. I do the odd paper trade but there is too much going on for me to get good at it. It is hard enough to picking a good winning stock without worrying about the time premium too. Of course my time frame is a lot different than yours. My "quick" trades take weeks to evolve not days or hours and my typical trade is over the course of few months. Hey, if we keep going we can get to message 10000 so Autumn can have the honour of setting a SI TA for short and longs first.
