As I understand it, this story is factually correct and certainly will cast doubt on all claims of painlessness and effectiveness of the product, since there is no independent verification of the claims. Just because there is a lot of false anti-Wand rumormongering doesn't mean that we should ignore a factually correct story that casts serious doubt on the validity of the scientific testing. "Even paranoids have enemies."
