AIT Anyone what to give me an opinion of what is going on with Ameritech? It is being bought by SBC in a stock exchange that will yield AIT holders 1.316 shares of SBC for every AIT share. With SBC trading at just under 40, AIT should be worth about 52, yet it is hovering under 45. Are investors worried about the length of time it will take before the exchange takes place and thus not biding it up? The general consensus is that the merged will be allowed to occur. Walter High P.S. This thread has fallen off by about 2/3's with Last Shadow gone. Even Jenna seems to be subdued in his absence. Hope he is having a good time and won't forget us completely upon his return!
