Paul: As far as I can make out this play is dependant on their finding enough diamonds in these trench test to justify fighting it out with those who oppose the idea of losing a state park to commercial interests.

I believe in a nut shell they want about ( 2 cups ) of diamonds to feel it is worth the fight?

So far they have only analyzed the trenches on the outer rim and are quite happy with what they have found.

Is this a fair assessment of the play?

Also is there anything by way of an analysis of the quality of these gems. I know they have found big ones but how good are they. You mention MPV counting .5mm diamonds and SRR throwing those sizes away. but a .5mm diamond if its good quality is certainly worth keeping. Personally I find it troubling that they would throw away these stones. Any thoughts?
