Just an FYI. The SEC has different reporting requirements for interim financial reports (i.e. quarters 1, 2 and 3) and the fiscal fourth quarter. An independent audit is not required for the former so companies have 45 days from the close of the quarter to report earnings and file their 10Q. Since fourth quarter financials require a formal review by a public accounting firm (and an auditor's opinion), the SEC allows corporations 90 days from year end to report their results and to file their form 10K. Qualcomm's fiscal year ends on September 30, so the company technically has until December 30th to report its fourth quarter results.
