Randall Taylor of Simula just called me back. there seems to be a real problem getting the 1st tier suppliers to sell the ITS instead of their own systems. Understandable, for sure, but a known going in to start with. This problem does not present itself in Europe which is why BMW sale was made and is of further significance.
R.T. said 1999 model year is done--BUT--one more European manufacturer will be selling the ITS in the '99 models. He was not allowed to say which one, indicating that the mfrr. wants to wait and announce when the new model is released. IMOH this indicates that ITS will be a sales feature in the new model. I suggested that Volvo is a logical guess as to the mfrr, he would not bite. He agreed with me that Mercedes would be "an interesting development" if it was the new '99 model ITS user. What a way to fall into the U.S. market-- Mercedes/Chrysler.

They are super proud of their design and confident that it won't be duplicated or matched as to effectiveness or price.

They continue to focus SALES efforts on 1st tier suppliers--Breed, Delphi, TRW. I(wpckr) think they should own Autoliv as a result of the suit.

Revenue increases as forecast continue to be expected, and net proceeds should improve due to focus on cost reductions in operations.
IMOH things should improve quickly after the PHANTOM '99 model is revealed.

This is not a lot to go wild about but it is the best I could glean. It is enough to keep me long, although I may reduce position some to watch.
