I believe that Ms. Atkinson's comments are realistic albeit cursory. The general lack of knowledge of the Venezuelan social, economic and political systems have always clouded the views of individual and professional investors alike. What "we" consider best for the Venezuelan people is not usually what they perceive to be in their best interest. Their view of their own best interest does not usually include Yanqui interference and biased opinions based on our "holier than thou" first world perspectives.
