The point is re: the share tally.. You are giving both the shorts and the day traders an advantage, knowing what the positions are out there.I believe that it is a counter productive activity on the part of all, I think that it should be ended now. I don't appreciate knowing any ones position. You should have your own conviction about what you are doing plus or minus.
