Conference Call...

I was able to listen to this one just now and hope to pass along a few bits of info. Please add on if anyone else listened to it.

1. 4 people in management/directors had insider buys this quarter.

2. The Netstream 2 product was talked about for at least 1/2 the conference call. It seems that all of our partners (Microsoft, First Virtual, etc...) are recommending our product to their customers. They already have many customers, but the market seems to be in its infancy so I'd expect more in the medium-term future.

3. The quazar chip has been bundled with our DVD-Rom board. This has greatly enhanced margins (mid 40's % for chip versus low 20% for board) which probably helped us get to break even this quarter. From what I could gather, the dvd-roms of Phillips and Sony still haven't started selling in volume yet but should pick up this quarter and much more in the 2nd half of the year. A few OEMs, like Utopia, have started selling their computers with our board so we are getting at least some sales. All in all, our brand name seems to be excellent with Phillips and Sony actually placing our name on the box of their product!

Those were the main things, although there was a lot talked about. I honestly can't see anything negative creaping up in the future. Someone on the conference call predicted another gain in sequential revenues and earnings, so I see greater things in the near future for SIGM's stock price (although I hope it lingers down here for a while so I can pick some more up).
