re: just one and half week ago everyone was so bullish Though the price drop this week really distresses me, as does AG's response in the shareholder meeting to why we need fasteer processors. I see very strong and growing demand in the server market from the following: - growth in the internet/intranet .... most of those servers are Intel based high end servers. - corporate restructuring to multiple tier client server architectures ..... big intel servers in middle tiers. - in the past 6 months I've been to "Merced" plan briefings from most of the major vendors (eg. HP, Compaq, Sun, ...) - very few players are not lining up behind Merced. These, as I understand it are the high margin areas for Intel and Intel is the only player in the server class processors. This business area seems growing and safe. Whew ..... I feel a little better ... do I have my head screwed on straight? Larry
