It's a addiction called "gambling"<ggg>. Some think of it as catastrophic insurance. If the stock melts down and goes to zero, the seller of the option has to buy the stock back at $55. This insurance policy only cost the buyer ~$1.50/shr. Now it doesn't really sound like such a bad idea if you're really nervous does it?<gg> MEATHEAD
