The odds of delay are good. The hearing, even w delay should happen around Feb, IMO. The patent covers more than the US. Does it cover the internet only? No. The patent is pretty specific. The net was not mentioned, but the PROCESS to do it was very painsakingly detailed, described in the patent. The web is "merely" 1 of several media that use the PROCESS described in the patent. There were modems then, but not the net. One must merely choose what digital data they want out of a list (a catalog), select it and signify that they agree to pay for this particular digital data. You could have a direct modem connection, outside the net, it can come out over your fax machine, thru cable, satellite. Try reading the patent. Mel
