Hit & Run Trading.
This book was the most widely acclaimed book out of all the daytrading books on Amazon, so I bought it. Everybody gave it a "10".
The guy doesn't play with words or worry about filling pages with text. It is short and to the point. The first three chapters barely cover 15 pages. Dont hold me to numbers because my son has the book now (its the first book I ever gave him that he carries around and actually READS!) I'm trading and my son is telling me "No dad, look,.. " pointing to the books "rules".
Back to the book. Those first 15 pages are easily worth the $100 alone IMO. The next 20 or so chapters are also short, each just a few pages long, covering one specific trading strategy, presumably starting with the easiest. It states the rules for each then gives 3 or 4 example charts.
I may not adopt all of these strategies, maybe bits and pieces as I formulate my own. He doesn't present any "rocket science". Its interesting to read something that easy to understand.
If I remember, the whole book is only say 150 pages. Yet, I'd say, if you only buy one book - buy this one. Don't just read it, study it and digest it. Let it sink in and it'll save you thousands. |
