Hi Stock!!! THANKS FOR THE MESSAGES!!!!! I really appreciate having a knowdgable person to exchange ideas with. I have been investing in tech for some time and this is the most significant bear mkt that I have encountered. I know it will recover but it may take a while. I am retired and I sort of got trapped in a few positions that I should have traded. One stock I own Cypress semi now has an investor relations forum on their web sight. Dan McCraine the VP of marketing and IR answers the postings and he seem to have good insights. Try cypress.com . At least Dan's view is from inside and he is as candid as the law allows. I am a techie so I have tried to invest in what I know, only this time it has not helped. I should have been a trader, not an investor. I don't know how long the conditions will last but it already looks to be worse than anything we have seen. The Asian effect continue to ripple through everything. There may not be much strong movement while companies are focused on the Y2000 issues but many companies need to upgrade their hardware so it may be 18mo to 2yrs....Dont know!!! Anyway thanks again ChuckB
