Your numbers sound close on share holdings. I understood that insiders hold all but 8 million shares, and I would think that institutions hold about 3 million of those, leaving 1/3 of the outstanding for us "little guys". I had missed the SEC filing on the convertible stock and it had not crossed my mind that Soros would be selling so soon after some rather substantial purchases that I believe he made. I happen to be a very conservative 72 year older who has about 25% of his net worth in Igen and another 25% divided between CTAL and GCR (which I hope will climb to 15 over the next year, or better yet, be bought out by a kinder, gentler, richer paper company). You might look at SJP. It has been a heavy asset dog for many years, but I believe they are starting to generate some future profits in that company. I have some scattered holdings that might give some help in anchoring my portfolio in a down market, (such as a little gem called ATRI that has switched from being a natural gas supplier to a medical equipment manufacturer - I love the venturesome souls! That one looks dirt cheap but I don't know when it will be worth more.) but these are the ones on which my hopes ride.
