This kind of profit-taking action and downward pressure on PFE is but a blip when viewed several months later. Nothing can disguise the fact that Viagra would be a wildly popular drug, and would bring billions of revenue to PFE. I watched a TV report today that in Taiwan they are selling Viagra in the black market for US $50 per pill, and the counterfeit pill (same kind of blue, same shape) is selling for the same price. Even Pfizer (Taiwan) couldn't differentiate between the two pills. It's a huge hit in Taiwan, and advertisements for their sale are in all the newspapers, though the drug is not yet approved there. I'm more concerned about the counterfeit pills; goodness knows what's in those pills (hopefully just placebos). Report said that Pfizer (Taiwan) is accelerating their action in applying for approval of Viagra in Taiwan.
