From the sense that SMOD is seemingly so clear about revenues for the next two Q's is perplexing to me (and to the analysts). Ajay stated many times how unclear the vision ahead seemed to be yet they will throw out numbers for the remainder of the year????

Doesn't make much sense....I think what Ajay is trying to do is let everyone know that the market simply sucks, he does not know when it will turn around but he suspects it will last the remainder of the year. He also stated that he hopes his predictions "will be wrong".

It's not as bad as it seems. The potential slowdown in sales reflects general market conditions that are out of SMOD's control. Market share is good, margins are good and longterm prospects look very good. I think they are over-reacting. Hell, I thought this channel stuffing, excess inventory in the PC market was taking its course NOW. The way Ajay explained it, he thinks it will go on for two more quarters. I don't think so.....IMO.
