The Q4 and FY98 numbers are in. See biz.yahoo.com

My most watched figure, the revenue from product sales, was $135,000 This is the lowest quarterly product sales number in my memory, "reflecting a change in the company's focus from its low-margin public health business."

Jim O'Shea says, "Our results represent a shift in our strategic focus toward building corporate alliances that we expect will create lucrative new markets for our technologies. We're making considerable progress on this front, with a number of near- and long-term prospects currently under review."

Mike Temple says, "As part of our strategic realignment, we have reduced our direct sales force and will focus on leveraging the sales and marketing capabilities of our corporate partners."

It appears that we've thrown in the towel on Bioject marketing the Biojector products directly to health care providers. Even though we found a receptive market (in public health inoculations), we couldn't make a worthwhile profit! Now it will be up to our "corporate partners" to market our injection technology. Jim's comment foreshadows some announcement(s) of new alliances. However, this has been foreshadowed for a long time. I'm looking forward to examining the other shoe, when it finally drops.

I have the utmost faith in Jim O'Shea's ability to lead our company forward. I'm disappointed and impatient, but hope springs eternal.
