AOL is a stock to own. Mid 20's should be support. AOL is now a major
threat to all small ( and many be big) ISPs. You can get AOL plus internet
for same price (or cheaper) that you've been paying for just internet. I have
both AOL and local ISP in western NY. my experience is that i have
much more reliable service with AOL. Many times i cannot get on local ISP
(busy signals, no answer, weird messages). While i like the ISP better
from what i am reading the WINDOWS 95 3.0 version of AOL is a big step
up in internet service.
Other major plus is AOL as takeover candidate. While every stock
on SI (except microsoft and intel) is a takeover candidate, this had
to be taken with a grain of salt. But if AT&T or one of the RBOCs wanted
to "grab" 7,000,000 customers. who do you call ---AOL. think abou it.
