Mark-
I am curious, how do you define an expansion breakout?
Also, when you cite those statistics on pullbacks, is a pullback:
1) A close below the open 2) A close below the previous day's close 3) An intraday pullback to close far below the high of the day 4) ?
Thanks for the info, I am also in the process of formulating a strategy to make my trading more uniform. If you get a chance, take a look at the chart for WND, even though it wouldn't fit your 12 or less criteria. I have bought this stock several times, the most recent at 26.12. I got stopped out of it today, as it failed to hold yesterday's low, and that is how I usually place my stops on a stock that has retraced 50% and then attempted to rally again, which WND did yesterday, finishing basically unchanged. Now I am waiting for a pullback to oversold, followed by a morning star or piercing line, some type of bullish signal and move above 30 stochastics on big volume to enter again. Anyway, interested in your ideas on this one, as I would have liked to have sold closer to the 34 high.
Thanks in advance,
