I'll tell what I'm using. The best program I have for searching and screening stocks is Telescan, for what you get it's cheap. Great charting, performing searches using my parameters from over 280 indicators available. For realtime quotes I use PCquote right off the internet. Plus, being on SI all day getting ideas helps. Plus using the internet. Total cost is about $150/mo for everything I need. I plan on upgrading to faster and better information providers, but one guideline to follow is watch your costs trading.
