Hi Bill, From: s3.com <The Savage3D accelerator is manufactured in a .25 micron design, supports 125MHz SGRAM memory and also supports all legacy operating systems. The chip is sampling today and is scheduled to be in volume production in the third quarter of 1998. Pricing for Savage3D starts at in quantities of 10,000 units.> No argument on earnings, or R&D spending for the last 1 1/2 years. From what I understand, the next 2 generations of products are currently under development so hopefully some of that R&D spending will start to pay off. Regards, Don
