Holly Warrant or Stock - which is the better buy?

If the warrant is currently 1/2 the price of the stock, one could buy twice and much for same $$$. If 1/3 price of stock - 3 times as much.

If I buy 1000 shares of stock and it hits $10, I have $10,000! If I bought 2000 warrants for same price, then $20,000 worth of stock would cost me $11,500 for a profit of $8,500 (less what I paid for the warrant).

However, if I could buy 3 times as much for same price, I would have 3000 warrants. 3000 shares would cost me $17,250 for a profit of 22,750 (less price paid for warrant)>

Warrant is a better deal if we project a $10 stock and warrant is 1/3 the cost of the stock when bought.

As you stated, the warrant may be better deal in the short term due to volitility.
