Paul, <Simple math - maybe too complex for you to handle.>

If you think Intel is making so much money, read this:

Loyalty is fine, but consider this: the company made
$6 bil last year, if they cared about you as a shareholder,
they might have paid a dividend of sayyy half of the profit???
That would be $3Bil/1.6Bil shares or $1.875/share. Instead they sent
you 12CENTS!!!! Watch what happens from here. The stock will
decline to $50 (I will be dancing in the streets) and then
they will announce A BIG SHARE BUYBACK. They will burn up
YOUR retained earnings to buy shares to replenish the
management stock option plan and re-set all the option
prices.
If you want more information on this look for a copy of
the May 18 Forbes page 216. If Intel's option compensation ran
through the incomes statement, instead of hiding it from YOU,
it would put Intel in a loss position. In fact they are playing
pretty fast 'n' loose with YOUR MONEY!

Enjoy.
