Why do you make your initial purchase in a DRIP "significant"? To me one of the really great things about DRIP programs is that you can take advantage of dollar cost averaging.

Back to your query: Our Investment Club is rather heavily weighted in the tech sector, or DRIPs include, INTC, MOT, LU, T, XON, PEP and CSR (Lucent just started the program very recently) the tech stuff is very volatile and the ability to dollar cost average really helps!!

In a previous post you mentioned the fees involved with a MRK DRIP, have your looked at any of the other drugs?, any look better? how about ABT or PFE?
