The model comes bundled with a DVD-RAM disk, UDF file system drivers and other items needed for quick installation and use. The main unit is equipped with a two-lens, two-laser head with a 650nm laser, as well as a DSP chipset that enables the drive to read the entire CD family, including DVD-ROM, DVD-R, CD-ROM, CD-R and CD-RW disks. The model provides a data transfer rate of 1.38MBps for DVD-RAM disks and a double-speed transfer rate of 2.76MBps for DVD-ROM and DVD-R disks.
