*AV*--Ray, I covered my short this morning on ZE. I joked about anyone wanting to buy this company. Well, 2 points in less than a week. I almost feel obligated to buy some shares just in case they can emerge from bankruptcy.
At these prices, I need to find out if Tech Master, Patrick, a few others, and Myself could buy the assets for pennies from the bankruptcy court. We become the modern day raiders.<GGG>
On a more serious note, I would like to send out one gigantic congratulations to a certain individual that frequents this thread. He has previously asked that his name not be associated with the stock but I would like to give credit where credit is due. This person first brought DY to my attention and after considerable due diligence, I decided it was a fantastic investment. DY was also supposed to be a takeover target by MTZ which did not occur. Over the course of the past 15 months (almost to the day), this stock has tripled in value.
I still hold onto a very considerably large block of this stock even though I have traded shares a few times.
I wanted to mention this, and some people know who the individual is, so that the community knows that good teamwork pays off. I wish I had 100% of my portfolio in DY last year<GGG>. However, I am happy to say that those that bought last year and held tight should be rejoicing today. Funny thing is that the initial discussions on <$> turned out to be 200% true and now should be called <$$$> in the future.
I take full credit for the DD and decision that it was a great stock but take absolutely no credit for the discovery of the company. Without this stock being first brought to my attention, none of this would have happened. My sincerest thanks to that individual since he also knows that this stock has helped to maintain and improve the "quality of life" for my granddaughter. It truly was and still is a blessing to be able to peel off a few shares now and again to support whatever programs, therapies, or equipment we feel she requires or desires without seeing the principal amount dwindle in size.
Good things happen when good people are involved and I know it will continue here. Going forward we need more people with quality information to come forward and actively participate here for the betterment of the community. I would like to formally acknowledge Tech Master for this. I am sure all the "original" SS members from a year ago consider him a charter member of the community. The same holds true for a few others that have graciously shared their expertise with the group like Judy, Dale, etal. Moving forward we will be stronger and better equipped to make a good run as the next market rally occurs in this sector.
