Despite the many thousand posts on this Board that forecast an explosion in ATM , we
now have an Implosion in NN. How come.?

Because the explosion in ATM reflects the future of NN long term. The price implosion on any given day reflects market sentiment at that point in time.

To use an analogy, you choose your spouse on long term qualities, and feel like giving her/him walking papers when short term sentiment changes. You can save yourself a lot of grief by understanding the difference.
