RE : TA is really a bunch of hooey

Chuzzlewit,
At some point and time, you have sold a stock,
If not then nothing matters to you, as you will probably never sell a stock.

List the reasons you sold the stock.
First set.
1) it went down.
2) It went up as much as I thought it would.
3) It went sidways for a long time and I am tired of it and I want to buy more DELL.

Second set.
1) It is sunny today.
2) It is rainny today.
3) It is supposed to be cold tomorrow.

Third set
1) I had a vision and it said sell the stock.
2) My wife had a vision and she said sell the stock.
3) My dog killed a squrill, it was an omen.

Fourth set.
1) An analysts said sell this stock because it won't go up any more.
2) Company said things are going to get awful
3) a competing company said things are going to get terrible.

If you used reasoning similar to the first set,
then you are applying TA in its crudest form.
If you used reasoning similar to sets 2-4, then good luck.

Jim
