Phil, thanks for the techweb link. It's fine news. Two comments. One, retail sales includes mail order, so I think Apple gets a boost here due to methodology. Two, Apple had a horrible April and May last year, yet incredible June sales led to a much better than expected quarter. So no one should worry too much about the article's suggested drop off from March to April.

As for the UMAX news, what's the conversion rate for the Taiwanese dollar? T$1.2 B is a lot less than $1.2 B US.
