I do not see any great amount of covering and am confused. I telephoned the AMEX, 212/306-1001, and spoke to a legal clerk - most of staff gone home early for long holiday - she laughed and said "Definitely not.... they are not required to cover. ....buy you can call back Tues. and confirm this with one of the attorneys." Which I will do.

If there was a lot of covering I expected to see a price increase since going listed, instead I see a drop in price indicating a lack of strength.
This could also indicate that the shorts already covered driving the price to $10.00+ and it has since lost momentum.

So what is it? And where did the information (rumor?) begin - I have heard this from the people at ETPI but GKI (formerly GKIS) investors' liaison was out most of the week, which I thought strange and the guy they recommend one to for answers doesn't have any.

Is there anyone who knows for sure about the short issue and most importantly what reliable source will confirm it? I will call AMEX on Tues and furnish a report here.

Happy holiday and good luck everyone.
