Howdy folks! I'm a pretty simple person, so maybe someone can help enlighten me, and please do it with simple concepts like real people talk without referring to jargon or previous posts:

1) If the "heirs" got what they wanted, why are they still interested in "educating" us on this thread? (for ease of use, I will refer to both Mr. Gull and Mr. Infoman as "heirs", as the selective responses to previous questions indicate this is effectively the situation)

2) Why would SUF simply withdraw their interdict preventing transfer of Marsfontein mineral rights? This is what they've been fighting for over the past many months. If they just walk away, they must understand that they will be wide open to legal problems with shareholders. Surely they can't be this misguided?

3) What did Dr. Maduna talk of in RSA parliament today? Can anyone find the text of his talk? Where has he been for the past couple weeks?

4) Why has a representative of the RSA (the Consul in Toronto) been so forthcoming with thoughts about this situation? Is he commenting on behalf of the government? If not, he surely must be reprimanded for leading Canadian investors and journalists to believe SUF had the support of the DME.

5) When do the "heirs" get the dough? Is it now, or some now and some later, or after mining starts (does De Beers like to increase the supply of diamonds?), or what? And how much money? Is that 75M Rand in today's currency, or some future time?

6) Isn't the same tough, hard-negotiating, play-for-keeps tactics used by De Beers with SUF likely to be the MO for De Beers future dealings with the "heirs" now that encumberances have been removed? I hope, for the "heirs" sake, that they're completely sure of all parts of their secret deal. I've come to understand that De Beers buys the best legal talent available.

7) Why is anyone connected with De Beers or the "heirs" even speaking with SUF? Isn't everything done?

Any help would be appreciated.

Enjoy the weekend.
