My understanding is that ARIF, the company founder (family), is the majority shareholder. As shares were being issued for acquisitions, he feared that he would lose a majority stake in a shareholder vote and therefore insisted, that he be given a number of shares percentage wise to maintain his majorial shareholder status. This assured him that he would never lose his company. Those are the facts as I have been able to piece them together from various shareholders who have gathered this information. Believe what you want but John Fairbanks was as loyal a shareholder as this thread has ever had and he also initially had, a large financial holding before the misleading information started to come out.
