I KEEP WONDERING why Apple didn't just start culling undesired dealers a few at a time months ago rather than suddenly inducing the negatively impacting headlines:
"Apple to Slash Dealer Network"
zdii.com or
"Apple prunes dealer network"
zdnet.com and
"The Day of the Dumpster"
maccentral.com by announcing then all at once.

Don't get me wrong! I think, and have stated publicly, that a tight distribution channel is the way to go. Just ask Michael Dell! But many people, who are already unsure of the turnaround's success, will see it as glaring proof that the core of the Apple has no seeds to renew its fruitful money tree.

Oh well... this to shall pass. And more rumors of Apple's demise will have been greatly exaggerated.

Good hunting,
HerbVic
