Your comments hit home to me. I always look at 10k's and fundamental data to see if the investment makes any sense in the real world. Plays on thinly held companies can be a risk, and maybe the movement doesn't seem to make sense. Buying at a 3/4 point spread may be a pain, but I am not a day trader either. I always: look for charts first, 10ks second sites third, industry news fourth.
