CatLady, you just made my day! I found the thread you recently started, looked at the the first post, and found this...

rainfrog.com

What an absolute riot those photos are! My wife and I are relatively new cat owners. She told me she had heard of toilet training cats, but I didn't believe it - thinking it must be some kind of joke. Well, apparently it's not. I love the part about the toilet lid must be up, and the seat must be down. It's hard to imagine it working without the lid being up. <g>

In addition, I found post #10 on the cat thread to be very valuable and timely for me. Just the other day one of our cats got spooked about something or another and slipped into the hot tub while I was in the hot tub - but just she just barely made a quick splash - and was out. I missed seeing the entire thing - just caught a glimpse of it in my peripheral vision. That caused us to wonder if cats could swim, and to question the extent to which the hot tub a potential hazard to a cat, if it did slip in. We couldn't stand the thought of throwing the cat into the hot tub to see what would happen...so we were left wondering. Now, from reading post #10 I have the answer.

Isn't serendipity just great? BTW, IMO, it isn't the number of posts that's important - it's the quality. And your first post on the cat thread was worth more to me than reading thousands of the all-too-often "junk posts" found at SI. Thanks.
