You write, "Let's see- old people take a lions share of the medical and medicaid dollars- correct? Now I personally think money is better spent on the young, because chances are if you spend it on them you will get some sort of return. Old people seem useless to me, especially old people who haven't bothered to plan for their 'golden year.'"

I can't believe what I have just read and must take issue with this! Most "old people" alive today were forced to pay great gobs of their hard-earned money into the boondoggle that is Social Security. They may or may not have this money returned to them during their lifetimes. Had they been permitted to keep this money and invest as they saw fit, they would not be on what you erroneously consider a public dole during their "golden year."

I take umbrage also at your statement, "Old people seem useless to me." I don't even know where to begin a reply to such a shallow and shortsighted statement. I'll just say that I regard your expressed thoughts on the elderly as dangerous and frightening.
