A fine analysis but I do feel it is flawed. Look how accurate political polling can be with a very small sample of the whole. If all species had a common ancestor, a single celled organism that gradually changed to all life, there would be enormous numbers of transitional forms. We have been looking for and finding fossils for a long time. Simple random number theory would demand that we find almost equal numbers but we find none.

A much greater problem for evolutionists is the problem of information theory. Even the simplest forms of life need volumes of genetic information to function. It has been said that a single cell is more complicated than the Island of Manhattan. Were did this information come from. How can so many needed functions be added in minute segments when all are necessary to have life.

I would not try to eliminate evolutionary process from the equation, but evolution can not on it's own produce life. It is impossible. Many Evolutionists are now admitting that these issues are real and are trying to change the theory. The problem for the Naturalist is that the only option is some intelligent source of information, outside the system. In my mind God. I will be posting more on this topic as I believe it is the most important issue science faces. At least it is fair to state the Creation is an important part of the study of origins and that those who discount it as simply a religious issue are the ones who close their minds. If God really did create the universe, the study of how he did it is certainly scientific. Naturalistic Evolution states that all life from slime mold to man and all matter from concrete to Jupiter had a common ancestor an
that ancestor was hydrogen. Seems like an tremendous amount of faith needed for that one IMHO. Certainly with the evidence so far I is fair to call such belief a religious one.
