Good to have you on board Frank. I look forward to your fresh insight on NSCP. Seems we both have a fetish for the underdog. CHKPF thread disintegrated into meaningless drivel...too bad because that used to be my favorite thread. I've been trading NSCP since they decided to go after the Yahoos of the world. They finally smelled the coffee, although a bit late. Investors still associate NSCP with MSFT browser war. The stock price currently fluctuates with news of the battle. You'd think investors would choose to focus on its transition to media company instead. I think the reason for this is that the key to Netscape's success in the portal business largely rests upon its ability to get its browser into personal computers. If the DOJ gets its way, NSCP will be guaranteed its place in every OS, or at least that MSFT isn't the browser by default. I just bought a new desktop, and it came bundled with Explorer. If I want Navigator, I've got to spend a bit of time downloading, relaunching, etc. which Joe Six Pack will not bother to do...we're talking masses here. Months from now, maybe sooner, investors will focus on the battle for eyeballs and war with other portals, but a win for NSCP in the browser war beforehand will go a LONG way toward a victory in the portal war. If Explorer doesn't become the browser by default with Windows 98, NSCP will become a dominant portal/search engine, otherwise it may have difficulty building a Netcenter community on its own, and I think we can all agree that this is where its future growth lies. Regards
