As you may recall, I called VentureTech 2000 and they denied they had fundraised for the company. They told me all calls were about selling product to potential customers:

As for relevance, let's see: stock price is based on earnings per share, and 99% of revenues (receivables) just went poof because of doing business with a company whose records were seized for fraud.

And, rightly or wrongly, who do you think VentureTech is going to blame for their lack of sales? Will they say: a) our sales staff in incompetent, b) Y2K is a bunch of hype and there's no market for fixing it, or c) there's no market for I|NOVA because (fill in your reason here). Sounds like another lawsuit to me.

Ralph, as for your friend, sometimes bad things happen to good people. Sorry.
