Eddie Kim. Re: "I believe this technology boom is only just starting to take off." I agree. In a recent book, The Roaring 2000's by Harry S. Dent, Jr. he predicts that in the next 7-10 years PC's will penetrate from the current 45% to 70%-90%.

He bases this prediction on the typical S-curves of consumer products, positing that they break into two groups 10-15 years and 25-30 years. He feels that PC's will take longer to penetrate and the internet will follow the shorter path.

I believe we are on the brink of the information technology explosion and CPQ, with their purchase of Digital, also anticipates this and is positioning themselves to be a leader.
