I knew there was an easier way for record keeping.

Quicken can import data into Turbo Tax, which saves you
typing twice. I'll look into getting Quicken.

TURBO TAX and a simple knowledge of Trading Tax laws (Colin Cody here at SI has been the best resource) is quicker and easier than a CPA.
