RE: AMD/INTC capacity and technology <Intel has a large lead in manufacturing capacity and technology> * AMD's FAB 25 (TWENTY FIVE) is under construction. * AMD's K6 is 8.8 mil transistors with 5 layer metal on 0.35 uM process. There are only a few company in the world who can manufacture this, INTEL and AMD among them. Intel still has the marketing leads, but I seriously doubt that is can maitain the kind of margin at will! Regards.
